The world is full of undiscovered ballers, all they need is the opportunity to prove the haters wrong.
Why play in the Australian NPL?
Big Clubs With Big History and Passion.
After Australian football was restructured in 2004 to include the A-League, many of the old NSL Clubs were let fighting it out in the NPL. But the likes of South Melbourne, Melbourne Knights, Sydney Olympic and Wollongong Wolves haven’t forgotten that they belong on the top tier of Australian football and still strive to be back among the elite.
Opportunities do exist to progress from NPL level to the A-League. Jai Ingham, Elvis Kamsoba, Blake Powell and former Aston Villa star Mile Jedinak were all plying their trade in the NPL before being given their opportunity on the bigger stage.
Get paid to play the game you loving in the most beautiful country on earth.
The NPL is a semi professional set up and all clubs pay their player on a per game basis. The amount will depend on your experience, quality and the size of the club you are signing for.
